Menu Toolbar

The Menu Bar contains all of LightBurn's top-level menus.

Click any menu in the image below to go directly to the relevant page for that menu, or scroll down for a list of menus and descriptions.

File¶

Contains options for saving, opening, importing, and exporting files, as well as accessing and exporting your LightBurn settings.

Edit¶

Contains tools for selecting and manipulating objects in addition to general LightBurn settings.

Arrange¶

Contains tools for positioning objects, both on an individual basis, and in relation to each other. It also contains tools for moving the physical laser in relation to objects within your project.

Laser Tools¶

Contains tools, tests, and step-by-step wizards for performing advanced lasering operations, dialing in settings to optimize product quality, and setting up accessory hardware.

Web Tools¶

LightBurn 2.1 has a new Web Tools Menu, where you'll find tools* for discovering, generating, or customizing projects for your laser.

All Web Tools open directly in a browser built into LightBurn, and you can import your results straight into your Workspace. From there you can utilize our laser control tools to apply Cut Settings, position your output, and send the job to your laser.

Some tools may require payment, while others will be completely free. In cases where a service requires a payment or subscription, LightBurn does not take a cut — our only aim in providing this menu is to share tools we're fans of, and facilitate smoother workflows our users.

*Ok, as of now, you'll only find Cuttle there. But we'll be exploring more of these types of integration down the road, so keep an eye out for new entries in our Web Tools Menu going forward.

Window¶

Use the Window Menu to control and customize your Workspace view, enable and disable Windows and Toolbars, or reset LightBurn's layout to its original state.

Language¶

Use Language Menu to switch the LightBurn interface into 1 of 24 different languages.
